Here is a Suggested Materials List for the 2022-23 school year. My goal this year is to challenge students to develop science inquiry mindsets by centering learning in real world phenomena and skill/ evidence based projects that require community involvement and collaboration by design. About Ms. Dekervor
|
Hello! My name is Genevieve de Kervor and I am overjoyed to be your students’ 10th grade chemistry teacher this semester. I graduated from High Tech High School in 2014 and returned to teach chemistry during 2020. After high school, I studied Developmental Biology and Hispanic Studies at Bowdoin College. After college I lived in Chile and studied the biochemistry of frog metamorphosis. In my free time, I love to ride super moto, volunteer as a mechanic, cross stitch, and spend time with my tuxedo cat and German Sheppard. I also have passions in filmmaking, alternative photographic printmaking, and learning about the chemistry of everything. I am looking forward to the semester ahead, where we will investigate scientific phenomenon & use science/ engineering design principles through engaging project work and meaningful partnerships with community members. |
